Who are The Jazz Reporters?

The Jazz Reporters are a collaboration of young professional jazz musicians from London, all of whom have graduated in recent years from the capital’s most prestigious music colleges such as the Royal Academy and the Guildhall.

Collectively and individually they have a wealth of experience, having worked in recent years with an enormous list of British and international jazz stars, including Jamie Cullum, John Dankworth & Cleo Laine, The Laurence Cottle Big Band, The James Taylor Quartet, The National Youth Jazz Orchestra...

What do they do?

In vocal or instrumental ensembles from 2 - 8 musicians, they perform jazz at private functions such as weddings, parties and corporate events, and at public venues such as jazz clubs, restaurants and bars.

As well as classic jazz repertoire from the songbooks of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern and Rogers & Hart, their setlist also includes a selection of Latin, blues, soul and Motown classics, enabling a seamless transition from Rat-Pack to Redding or Fitzgerald to Franklin within the same performance!
